Shinawatra University in Thailand (hereinafter referred to as SIU) is a well-known university founded by Thaksin Shinawatra (former Prime Minister of Thailand), the father of the current Prime Minister of Thailand, pethon thanshinawatra, with the approval of the Ministry of education of Thailand in 1999. The school has two campuses, both located in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
